Henley Literary Festival

Updated: Dec 17, 2021

Three Raven Queens...

Wow, what a week! We were so thrilled to have been part of this year's Henley Literary Festival. A huge thank you to novelist and poet, Claire Dyer, for her lovely introduction and interesting questions. It was a pleasure to share the stage with her. A big thank you to the festival organisers for their warm welcome, and to Henley River and Rowing Museum for hosting us in such a wonderful setting. After a last minute panic that it would just be our doting mothers in the audience, every seat was taken. Strange how a full audience is so much less daunting than a smattering of one.

It was wonderful to be a part of such a prominent and well-loved literary festival.

Claire Dyer has published several poetry collections, her latest, 'Yield', was published earlier this year, and her fifth novel, The Significant Others of Odie May, is an absolute page turner.

We solemnly swear there was no memo to wear black. We were all reading from the same page, as they say.

Three raven queens in a row...

Post Script: Nicola's finished illustration was sold for charity, with half going to The Acorn Music Theatre Trust and half to The Greener Earth Project.
